Welcome to My Bar Mitzvah Fundraiser!
Hi, it's Oren. As part of my Bar Mitzvah project, I'm collecting plastic bottles to recycle and raise money for Pantry Packers, an organization that provides food and home maintenance supplies to low-income families and senior citizens in Israel.
My goal is to raise $613, which is a meaningful number in Judaism. But even more importantly, every $32 raised gets matched by the Israeli government five times, turning into a 500-shekel food cart for a family in need. That means my goal of $613 will provide food assistance to over 20 families!
In addition to fundraising, I will be volunteering at Pantry Packers with my family during the week of my Bar Mitzvah to help package food for those in need. This cause is very important to me, and I am excited to take part in it both by raising money and by giving my time.

שלום, זה אורן. כחלק מפרויקט בר המצווה שלי, אני אוסף בקבוקי פלסטיק למיחזור על מנת לגייס כסף ל-"Pantry Packers", ארגון שמספק ארגזי מזון וציוד תחזוקה ביתי למשפחות מעוטות יכולת ולאזרחים ותיקים בישראל.
המטרה שלי היא לגייס 613 דולר, מספר בעל משמעות ביהדות. אבל אפילו יותר חשוב – כל 32 דולר שייאספו מוכפלים פי חמישה על ידי ממשלת ישראל, והופכים לקרטון מזון בשווי 500 ש"ח למשפחה נזקקת. המשמעות היא שהיעד שלי של 613 דולר יספק סיוע במזון ליותר מ-20 משפחות!
בנוסף לגיוס הכספים, אני ומשפחתי נתנדב ב-"Pantry Packers" במהלך שבוע הבר מצווה שלי כדי לעזור באריזת מזון לנזקקים. המטרה הזו חשובה לי מאוד, ואני נרגש לקחת בה חלק גם על ידי גיוס תרומות וגם באמצעות השקעת הזמן שלי.
