#Man Up is a unique program for Bar Mitzvah boys at Yeshivah College in Melbourne, helping them understand the meaning and responsibilities of becoming a Bar Mitzvah. As part of this journey, the boys are taking on the powerful mitzvah of tzedakah—raising funds to help boys who cannot afford their own pair of tefillin.

For many families, the cost of $625 per set makes tefillin out of reach. Together, we can change that. By joining this campaign, you are giving a Bar Mitzvah boy not just tefillin, but a sense of belonging, dignity, and a deep connection to his Jewish heritage.

This initiative is supported through the partnership of Colel Chabad, Israel’s oldest tzedakah organization, and Pantry Packers, a partner project that works across multiple initiatives to provide food and essential support to those in need.
