Temple Emanu-El 6th & 7th Grade Tzedakah Project
As part of our Bar and Bat Mitzvah journeys at Temple Emanu-El, we are participating in a mitzvah project that is especially meaningful to us.
Our Religious School is partnering with Pantry Packers, an organization in Israel dedicated to helping feed families in need by packing and delivering food with dignity and care. Together, our 6th and 7th grade students are raising funds to help provide essential food support to families who need it most.
Becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah is not just about learning prayers or leading a service — it is about understanding the importance of communal responsibility, showing compassion, and caring for others. This project allows us to put those values into action by transforming tzedakah into meaningful impact and supporting families in Israel in a tangible way.
We are proud to be part of this effort and grateful to be working with Pantry Packers. Thank you for supporting our students and helping make a difference. Every donation, big or small, truly matters.
