For my Bar Mitzvah I want to raise money for Pantry Packers. Pantry Packers is a place that helps feed the hungry people of Israel. No one should ever be hungry and I want to work together with you to help feed as many people as possible. For my Bar Mitzvah, I am part of a learning group where each boy has to choose a 'middah' and teach about it. For the week when I have to present, I will be learning with my friends about ואהבת לרעך כמוך. This 'midda' is so important and the best way to help others is to make sure that they have food to put on the table. So, once we learn about how best to help others, we will be taking a trip to Pantry Packers together to pack food for the needy and to make sure that we are looking after our fellow Jews that are in need.
