In honor of Ruthie and Danny's 50th wedding anniversary and in lieu of a gift, please consider supporting Pantry Packers / Colel Chabad by making a contribution to our fundraiser in Ruthie and Danny's honor.
Pantry Packers is an organization that delivers 37,000 monthly food crates to Israel's poorest families and senior citizens.
In addition to their regular work throughout the year, I learned about the emergency projects they recently launched due to the war. Some of which include:
- Subsidized monthly food cards for displaced families.
- Over 1M shekels to families of soldiers.
- A day of fun and respite at a theme park for hundreds of children that survived the Simchat Torah atrocities.
- Over 700 toys to children in shelters and to evacuees.
- Prepared and sent 32,237 meals to homebound elderly and families.
-"Pop Up" shops with free clothing for families that had to quickly evacuate because their neighborhoods surround Gaza.
