While having a big party to celebrate becoming a bat mitzvah is so exciting, I also wanted to participate in something that will help other people who are not as lucky as me. Chessed is a very important role in Jewish woman’s life and I want to start my journey as a Jewish woman with tzedakah and chessed. I had a meaningful experience volunteering at Pantry Packers during my recent trip to Israel to help pack food for needy people living in Israel.
